Data Snapshot: Arts Partnerships - Before and After the Pandemic explores the challenges that were faced by arts partners during the COVID-19 pandemic school years. It details what the common characteristics were among arts organizations that had school partners in 2018-19 but no longer in 2020-21, while also exploring such data as whether partners served fewer or more schools, what artistic disciplines they provided, and how we can use this data to build back partnership numbers.

Green Star Movement

Grant Amount: 10,000

The Green Star Movement instructs students how to incorporate mosaics, sculpture, painting and photography into a community mural to create a greater sense of connectedness in the community. The Green Star Movement will work with 4-8th graders to build self esteem and teamwork through an interactive project that will inspire and revitalize Cleveland’s neighborhood. Students will receive art instruction and create a vision and theme for the community mural. Students will design and create the mural and unveil their art at a community event.
