1 Truck, 2 Teachers, 12 Desks. The Traveling Classroom Chicago is just that: two teaching artists who set up a classroom in iconic Chicago locations, engaging the public as students through discussions about education and through writing and drawing prompts. This project will create a dialogue with photos, inciting educational nostalgia and capturing artistic expression happening in the very places that shape our society, all while using our city as a classroom. Feel free to join in the fun at the Traveling Classroom locations listed below. No reservation is required. If you can't make it to the Traveling Classroom in person, keep tabs on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram - and be sure to join us for the June 15 exhibition and reception!
