In Part 2 of Constellation Resident William Estrada’s​ interactive ​and​ ​dynamic workshop, arts partners will be invited to imagine various ways to implement social justice art making in their learning spaces. We will explore how to celebrate students’ complex experiences and amplify student voices through art projects that provide opportunities to reimagine just futures full of joy. This workshop will provide student examples and will invite educators to develop collaborative resources that​ ​highlight​ ​the creativity​ ​already​ ​present​ ​in​ ​their schools and provide opportunities to explore new art projects with the support of a teacher network.​ Part 2 will focus on sharing Culturally Responsive Art Education & Social Justice Art Project Ideas, identifying resources, and establishing a collaborative CRAE and SJA curriculum sharing network.
