Ingenuity will be hosting a CAEF networking event at 5:00pm on Monday, March 3rd, which will be followed by the second installment in the symposium series Reimagining School: Why Creativity and Innovation Matter.
Created by Golden Apple, National Louis University, Chicago Shakespeare Theater and Family Action Network, Reimagining School is Chicago’s annual symposium series envisioning the future of education.
This symposium series will feature Trung Le and Dr. Nichole Pinkard. Each a critical thinker and groundbreaker in our country’s education landscape, Trung Le and Dr. Pinkard will engage in a dynamic, unrehearsed conversation, each from their unique perspective, about the ways in which schools can and must foster the creativity and innovation essential to our students’ global competence in a changing world. The conversation will be moderated by WBEZ Arts and Culture reporter Alison Cuddy.
Dr. Pinkard, is the founder of Digital Youth Network and RemixLearning, two organizations focused on developing digital literacies as tools for extending traditional methods. Mr. Le is an award-winning designer of learning spaces in the U.S. and contributing collaborator in the development of the recent book The Third Teacher: 79 Ways You Can Use Design to Transform Teaching and Learning.
