Some topics that will be addressed include: "Crafting your message for specific audiences", "How to get new programs funded", "How to get buy-in from the rest of your organization", and "Developing your own leadership skills".
Come hear the keynote speech from Richard Axelrod, co-founder of The Axelrod Group, a consulting firm that pioneered the use of employee involvement to effect large-scale organizational change. Before forming the Axelrod Group, Dick was an organization development manager for General foods. He now brings more than thirty-five years of consulting and teaching experience to this work with clients including Boeing, Coca-Cola, Harley Davidson, Hewlett-Packard, Novartis, and the UK's National Health Service.
The day will also include a panel discussion on CAEF's four professional learning communities which are focused on advocacy, assessment, partnership and publication.
