Principals, teachers, arts liaisons, arts instructors, community arts partners and any other CPS personnel are invited to attend Ingenuity's institute on Communication and Cultural Humility in Family Engagement. Building better relationships with parents, caregivers, or guardians is extremely important and necessitates trust, consistency, accountability, listening, and cultural humility. This institute will discuss how arts organizations can seek input in designing programming to ensure programs are responsive to student, family, and community needs and desires and how strong relationships can receive support from the parent/guardian-student-instructor triangle. In addition, training on cultural humility, trust, accountability, and consistency in building parent/ guardian relationships, participation, and exposure through an arts program that is realistic given the other demands on their time will be provided. RSVP for this institute today!
