Ingenuity is proud to celebrate 15 years of guiding and uniting our city to improve access, quality, and equity in arts education for all CPS students. Since our founding, we’ve championed the belief that strong arts programs boost engagement, attendance, test scores, and overall academic success—while also strengthening students’ confidence and social connections. Through our initiatives, we have enabled 98,000 more CPS students to engage with the arts. Yet, 83,000 students still lack access to quality arts programs. As we look to the next 15 years, we remain committed to ensuring every student can benefit from the arts’ transformative power—empowering them to create, flourish, and thrive.

On Wednesday, May 6, 2026 from 6:00-9:00PM, join us at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago as we mark this milestone at our 15th Anniversary celebration. We’ll honor leaders in Chicago’s arts education sector and rally our community to advance this work together.

Ingenuity is proud to celebrate Zach Lazar and Capital Group alongside The Joffrey Ballet. As former board chair of The Joffrey Ballet, Zach has helped bridge leadership, philanthropy, and the arts to expand access and opportunity for young people across Chicago. For decades, The Joffrey Ballet has brought world-class dance into Chicago Public Schools, providing students with hands-on dance education, mentorship, and performance experiences that foster creativity, confidence, and collaboration. Together, they exemplify how strategic investment and arts education can intersect to create lasting impact—ensuring that every student has the opportunity to experience the transformative power of the arts and thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

This is a night you don’t want to miss—celebrating the future of arts education in our city and the incredible work happening to uplift our students.
