Data Snapshot: Arts Partnerships - Before and After the Pandemic explores the challenges that were faced by arts partners during the COVID-19 pandemic school years. It details what the common characteristics were among arts organizations that had school partners in 2018-19 but no longer in 2020-21, while also exploring such data as whether partners served fewer or more schools, what artistic disciplines they provided, and how we can use this data to build back partnership numbers.

Play in a Book

Grant Amount: 10,000

Play In A Book provides Drama Based Reading and Math Programming in schools. At LEARN Charter ES, PIAB will provide a twenty session drama based reading program to the two 4th grade classrooms and two 5th grade classrooms, culminating in a performance to be shared with classrooms in the lower grades. Additionally, 4th and 5th grade classroom teachers as well as LEARN Arts Liaison will participate in a professional development workshop, gaining the skills to implement select drama based reading activities into their own practice.
