Angela Lin (she/her)
Director of Data & Research
Angela Lin is the Director of Data & Research and oversees Ingenuity’s data products, including the management of the artlook® platform and the creation of data tools and reports. She joined Ingenuity as a Senior Data Analyst in 2021 to provide analytical support and actionable insights for public arts education in Chicago. Angela is an experienced analyst who has worked with a variety of databases. Prior to Ingenuity, she worked as an actuary for Allstate Insurance in Chicago and received her credential as an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society. She has also done analytics work for The Nova Collective, a company devoted to DEI work. Angela is passionate about strengthening advocacy efforts through understanding and using data.
Angela holds a B.S. in Statistics and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago, and she graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2020 with a M.Sc. in Statistics with Data Science. In her life outside of Ingenuity, she loves to play board games and hike; her personal goals include visiting all the national parks in the United States.
