Christopher Chantson joined Ingenuity in March 2017.

As Director of Development, he is responsible for developing, implementing and leading fundraising strategies to support Ingenuity’s work to ensure that the arts are a critical component of every student’s education in the Chicago Public Schools system.

Prior to Ingenuity, Christopher was Director of Development at the Ounce of Prevention Fund, which provides and advocates for high-quality early education for low-income children from birth to age five.  His responsibilities included fundraising strategy and leadership, relationship management, institutional grants, and department operations.  He previously held development positions at Thresholds and The Chicago Chamber Musicians.

Christopher holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Performance from McGill University and DePaul University, respectively, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature degree, also from McGill.
