Communications Manager
Before joining Ingenuity in December 2021, Usman held marketing and communications roles across a number of industries including education, arts and culture, public health, conservation, and creative delivery, and was most recently Marketing Manager at the Chicago Literacy Alliance. With a deep personal interest in education, communication, and access, he’s especially excited about continuing his career with Ingenuity and in Chicago’s mission-driven education sector.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Usman is a University of Missouri graduate and has been a resident of Chicago since April 2017. Outside of the office, he’s a photographer, automotive enthusiast, mediocre illustrator, and semi-former athlete.
